Jose Morell (1899-1949) painted this travel poster of “Veraneo en las Playas de Cataluna.” Morell was one of the most prolific Spanish travel poster designers in the late 1920s-40s. His style varied from impeccable Art Deco stylizations to brightly colored, boldly rendered figures and vistas. He also designed posters during the Spanish Civil War.
