Bleu Deschamps en Vente Ici(20″ x 30″) Canvas Wall Art

Alphonse Maria Mucha (1860 – 1939) was a Czech Art Nouveau painter. However, he did a great many posters and prints. The period of his work has become known as the Belle Epoque. Art Nouveau poster “Bleu Deschamps” created in 1897 is an advertisement for a “bluing” product called “Blue Deschamps,” which when used, created a whiter and brighter fabric. The image says “Bleu Deschamps en vente ici” which means “Blue Deschamps on sale now.”
