A “Wild Animal Show” – in five different rings – was a key feature for the Christy Bros. Circus. From America?s golden age of the traveling circus. This classic multi-colored lithograph captures the spirit and excitement of the show. The Christy Brothers Circus began in 1910 as Christy’s Big Hippodrome Shows but changed to a circus format in 1914. It changed in 1919 to a railroad-car traveling circus, but was devastated by the Great Depression, finally ceasing operations in July, 1930.
